Shagun is an exceptional math tutor and works really well with our elementary and middle school sons. Her guidance helped them stay ahead of schoolwork and bridge the gaps exacerbated by pandemic learning. Our middle schooler got that extra lift he needed to excel, while our younger son with ADHD caught up and then advanced onto compressed math.

Weekly Sessions
- You have the option of working with me to design your own weekly schedule to fit the needs of your child
- One 60 minute session or two 30 minute sessions per week are encouraged for significant progress in academic performance

My son has been working with Mrs. Patil for over 1.5 years now. Shagun provides the extra practice he needs to help solidify the math concepts he is learning since they are covered by his teacher at a fast pace. Shagun has also given him practical strategies to use for taking standardized and other course-related tests and quizzes. This has translated to higher scores on tests like the MAP-M. Most importantly, Shagun is very personable and easy to work with as well as an excellent communicator. We are thrilled to have found such a gem of a tutor!

This is the third year that our daughter has been working with Shagun for her math tutoring and expertise. Shagun’s teaching methods make a fun and comfortable learning environment and her patience and reinforcement of various principles in math help for an overall understanding. Paying per session or per week allows us to easily adapt to changes in your schedule, ensuring you get the support you need without any financial commitment.
Children need a safe space to learn, make mistakes and ask questions. As your child moves from one grade level to the next, I work actively with you to provide continuous monitoring and timely interventions to address on going learning needs.
Our 7th grader has been meeting regularly with Shagun since at least 2nd grade. We credit much of his love of school to Shagun. With her assistance he's been very comfortable in all his classes, consistently getting high grades and test scores. Her transition to online meetings was perfect. Online tutoring provides easy access to a wealth of online resources, such as digital whiteboards, digital texts, websites, and educational videos which can greatly enhance learning. Parents can easily schedule sessions at times that work best for their child, without the need to commute anywhere. This keeps our meetings consistent as there are fewer cancelations.
My favorite tools to use for online instruction are Bitpaper, Google Slides, Google Sheets, and Zoom. These resources include interactive virtual whiteboards and collaborative editing tools that enable us to work together on math equations, writing pieces, homework and much more.

You will receive a PDF of our session notes after each meeting. This document will contain all the work we completed and the resources utilized during our time together. A homework assignment may be assigned to complete before our next session.
Absolutely! As a fellow parent, I understand how challenging it can be to juggle your children's schedules. That's why I am happy to accommodate your needs.
The best way to reach me is through email and texts. Parents often communicate with me throughout the week to share their child's classroom learning or arrange a schedule change. They also email or text their child’s homework to me each week.
